Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress best famous for her performances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. She has proven her versatility through 2003 when she has delivered outstanding performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit The Shield, 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her role as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her performance as feminist activist Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally made her an actor. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's classic show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season. Hind has recently finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is set to be released in mid-2019. The place she was born is Mangalore, in India. The father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist. He passed away on 18 March 2017. The mother Vrinda works at home. Aditya Rai, her elder brother is a merchant marine engineer. His brother wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. Arya Vidya Mandir was the High School where Bachchan studied following her family's move to Mumbai. Following her completion of intermediate courses through Jai Hind College, she enrolled at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she scored 90 percent on her H.S.C. exams. In her adolescence, she was in studying classical dance and music for five years. Her passion was for Zoology. After the film's release, Provoked: a True Story in English, she made a return to Bollywood and was a part of the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). In April 2007, she got married Abhishek Bachchan who is a frequent co-star in the film and child of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of the country's most famous personalities.
